Many Penn applicants will be contacted for an alumni interview at some point during the Admissions cycle (November for Early Decision, December-March for Regular Decision). Unfortunately, our volunteers aren’t currently able to reach every student who applies. There is no action required to be considered for an interview, and there is no process to “request” one. Interviews are always subject to the availability of alumni volunteers: applicants will never be penalized in Penn’s admissions process if an alumni interviewer is unable to reach them. Penn does not pre-screen applicants for interviews, and while the interview is not required, we encourage you to accept the opportunity if it is offered.
