How does Early Decision work for Coordinated Dual Degrees (CDDs)? Can I apply Early Decision to a CDD, but Regular Decision to a single degree?

When you apply to a CDD through Early Decision, you will also indicate whether you would like your alternate school choice to be considered under the Early or Regular Decision Plan. 

If you apply to a CDD program in Early Decision and are not admitted to the CDD program, one of two things will happen: 

• If you select to be reviewed for your alternate school choice under Early Decision, you will be reviewed and receive your decision in mid-December when the Early Decisions admissions decisions are released. 

• If you select to be reviewed for your alternate school choice under Regular Decision, the review of your application to your alternate school choice will be deferred to the regular decision round.
